Self Support Coils or Air Coils Using Heavy Wire Gauges (Up to AWG #10) CWS manufactures heavy gauge air coils or self supported coils, from AWG #22 to AWG#10 sizes. In many cases, the windings are done using 200 deg C class wire insulation for high temperature application. The bonding of the heavy gauge wires are achieved using high temperature curing epoxy. The epoxy are applied using wet wind methods and then oven cured at 350 deg F. See below for examples of custom coil windings.
